Windows XP Startup Error. Really weird! Help!!

A while back I downloaded a program from limewire... And I installed it and
everything was fine.. Then I got a windows XP update notification and it said
windows had to be restarted for the update to go into effect.. Well after I
restarted, I typed in my password, and my computer logged in for like, a half
a second.. Then it logs off and goes back to my startup screen immediately.
I've tried running it in safe mode but it doesn't work either.. It restarts
too.. I don't really know of a way to fix it... Any suggestions?

Have you scanned for viruses, trojans and spyware? A lot of Limewire files
contain nasties such as viruses and spyware. If you can't load Windows XP
you may need to get a bootable CD and scan from there.
