I've been away for a while......I see SP3 mentioned.
Has it been released? Update website doesn't find it.
Is it scheduled for release, or is it a wish, or a rumor,

XP SP3 has not been RTM yet. There will be plenty of information about
it when the final version is available, which is supposed to be sometime
this year - when it's ready.

Neither. It's expected (but not yet scheduled) some time in the first
half of this year.

of the updates offered to you.

Thanks for the link, Jerry..........but
its "redirection limit is exceeded" and it
doesn't load. But I got a few responses indicating
that patience is in order.

I found the download box at the MicroSoft site and downloaded and installed
it. But after doing this, the SP3 does not show up in System Tools in my 'XP
Home'.
