I need to buy a copy of Windows XP for a PC I'm building. Does anyone know
when Windows XP with SP3 will be available?

Buy one now, integrate SP3 when it is released in 7 or so days to the
public...

You are not likely to get it! XP is dated technology and MS wants
everybody to move on and buy Vista.

Reminder to everyone on WinXP SP3, the REAL release is not out yet.

If you read the download page notes carefully, there is a statement
that the final release will be through Win Updates just like any
previous SP.

If you are an MSDN/TechNet subscriber - or an OEM - you likely have the
"REAL release" already. It is the end-consumers that likely cannot get
their hands on it from a *supported* download location.

Is that your opinion or facts?
