Hello,
After installing SP2 on August 28, the following happend:
Outlook provider reversed to att.worldnet.net.
This dial-up ISP has been cancelled in March 2004 and
replaced by Bellsouth which has been replaced by Adelphia
Broadband(cable modem)the same month.
Outlook Express shows ATT as the provider, all my e-mails
from March to August has disappeared. And the e-mails
from January to March 2004 re-appeared! The accounts
(Adelphia and Bellsouth) have disappeared and replaced by
ATT.
After cancelling the ATT account and re-creating the
Adelphia account I receive and send e-mail since August
29.
I would greatly appreciate explanations and cures to
recover the missing e-mails.

I don't know the answer but I hope you backed up your email before
installing SP2.

For next time:

http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/backup/index.htm

Try searching for .dbx files on your C drive, allowing the search to look
for hidden files. If you find your old ones, try using OE to import them
back (File/Import/Message, browse to wherever the search found the .dbx
files). Configure your Adelphi Broadband acocunt again in OE and make sure
it works. Get rid of the ATT account if you no longer have it.

Let me know if this works.
