I'm still new on XP SP2, I read a few things about it and is it true that SP2 will be ready and put out for use to get?
 
yes, it will come out. there isn't an exact date yet but
it will be out soon. and you get to use it. it should be
in the windows update site when it comes out

SP2 will be released soon, but no firm date has been announced.
