I installed Windows XP SP2 and I could no longer use my Presonus
FIREStation audio interface. The tech support guy at Presonus said
that SP2 pretty much kills all firewire audio devices. Does anyone
else have any experience with this? I tried disabling DEP for the
FIREStation executables, but I think the mLAN drivers (made by Yamaha)
are incompatible with SP2. I uninstalled SP2 and regained the use of
the FIREStation.

And the guy said Yamha would be getting new drivers ready
ASAP before word spread over the internet not to use
Yamaha products?

They have about 14 hours left. :)

Apparently, the newer Yamaha driver are far worse and don't work
anyway.
