Windows XP moving some of my audio tracks glitch

I use a PC running Windows XP SP2. Fully updated.

I currently have 25 Windows Media audio tracks saved in my 'My Music'
folder. None of them protected. Every few days or so, Windows (or some
program) will move one or two of these audio tracks, usually the same ones,
and place them in a folder called 'Unknown Artist.' Those audio tracks
still play fine, but this forces me to move them back with the rest of the
audio tracks. Then I delete the 'Unknown Artist' folder.

Why does this keep happening?

I already did a Google Search. I couldn't find a specific answer to
my problem. However, someone in another XP NG posted a suggestion.

There is nothing written that such files need to be stored in the
My Music folder. If this action is something that is inherently
built into Windows XP, then create and rely on your own discrete
storage location that is outside the media maintenance boundaries
of Windows Media Player and its options. How does this compare to
the answer in the other XP newsgroup? (BTW, which one is it?)

microsoft.public.windowsxp.music. The tip there suggested that perhaps
the author info was not included in the tracks properties. But they are.
The same person suggested that perhaps another multimedia program is
mischievously moving them around. I suspect RealPlayer.

I frequently download music tracks from Wal-Mart.com, and the website
always asks me if I want to save these tracks to My Music folder. And I
always reply yes. I just wish they would STAY there.

Let me clarify myself a bit. The audio tracks do stay in the My
Music folder. The annoying glitch is that some of them are moved and placed
in a subfolder titled 'Unknown Artist.' I have since configured Windows
Media Player to handle Windows Audio files instead of RealPlayer. We'll see
if that helps.
