Windows XP SP2 Deployment.

Microsoft is to deploy SP2 to every computer running xp, with or without SP1
by April 12th. My question is, does that mean every computer will be just
downloading the new service pack, or does that mean they will be force to
install the Service Pack as well? Also, is this date still sticking for when
they plan to force the upgrade?

The only thing we are doing is lifting the block that was available to stop
the SP2 update appearing to be offered to you.
So for a normal end user nothing has changed - you will see SP2 advertised
as recommended update until you install it.
We are not forcing anything on anyone, you do not have to use Automatic
Updates and you do not have to accept the installation how so ever offered.
