Windows XP sound codec problem

Hi
I have some old games from Zeta Multimedia and I installed
them when my PC had Windows ME, then I upgraded to WXP and
no problem.
Now I changed to a new PC with WXP, but every time I try
to install the game, it warns me: the game is for
Windows95 but you can install it and it may work
After installation is finished, try to run the game, it
gives a message that says sound codec is not installed.
Comparing the sound codecs in both PC, I found the old PC
has Microsoft PCM converter and the new PC has Microsoft
ADPCM

Someone can help?

Thanks

Try running the game in Windows 95 compatibility mode. You can activate the
mode by going to the properties for the shortcut for the game and going to
the compatability tab. From there you can configure Windows XP to run the
game in Windows 95 compatibility mode, along with other compatability
options.
