Windows XP Service Pack 1

I recently did an update and installed the Windows XP
Service Pack 1 and since that time have not been able to
receive any attachments on Outlook Express! How can I
correct this without compromising too much security loss?

Jane;
Outlook Express:
Open Outlook Express.
Click Tools, click Options, click Security tab.
Uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."
This change that Microsoft implemented is to help prevent viruses and
other bad code being received with attachments.
It is very important to keep your antivirus updated and run it at
least weekly.
