Windows XP Security Updates -- Want to download only once

I'm looking for where the Microsoft Updates are stored on
a local computer. My desire is to use a broadband line to
download the updates (28+ MB) that I need, burn a CD and
then take the CD home to update the two PCs that need the
updates.

Any help is appreciated.
