Windows XP recovery after a Partition Magic resize

I wanted to take my WD 120GB drive and break it into 2 partitions. I
cleaned off about 40 gigs and went to resize it in Partition Magic 8.
It started the process after a reboot, but then errored out. When I
try booting from the C drive, it starts to load, but then reboots
automatically. I've tried safe mode and such, but no luck. I
installed XP onto my D drive, but can't access my C drive anymore.
Any ideas to access it so I can move my files to another drive?

Thanks!

Contact PowerQuest...their support is very good.

That kind of resize should ALWAYS be done using the PM boot disks
rather than depend on the PM virtual boot from WinXP to PM and back to
WinXP. As the other reply suggested, contact Powerquest Tech Support
for a possible fix, but I'm thinking you're going to wind up doing a
repair install of XP in order to restore the boot sector information.

Good luck.
