Windows XP Professional Installation Error Messages

Receiving two error messages (thus far) when I try to
install Windows XP Professional: "Setup cannot copy
M:\1386\mfc42.dll to C:Windows\Setup\mfc42.dll." Same for
migisol. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Either CDROM drive is faulty or CD is damaged.
