Is there a spell checking option for WordPad?
Can't seem to find a spell checker on either word
processing tool.

No, there isn't. WordPad is little more than a glorified text
editor, and doesn't have any advanced word processing features.

spellchecker is part of off not windows.

obviously many third party spellcheckers you could
install.
