I have a folder that I think has an invalid name. It wont
allow me to delete it. When I try it says this:

I forgot to add that it also will not allow me to change
the file name

try this:
1. open command processor or run "CMD"
2. go to the path were the folder you want to delete
resides, try deleting it using the "DEL" command. if still
cant be deleted, make sure command processor is open and
open taskmanager. end the explorer process in the
taskmanager. at that you will lost your taskbar and try
doing step 2. deleting using del command. then run
explorer by clicking file new task (run) and type
explorer..
