WIndows XP Pro with SP2

Hope I can explain this properly!

My laptop connects to a domain and I can connect from it to my home system
(when at home) Yet since I installed XP2 on the laptop I can't connect from
my home system to the laptop. Can't turn off the firewall on the laptop as it
tells me it's using domain settings and will not let me do anything at all
with it

Any ideas?

Can ping tye desktop from laptop but not vice versa

Just thought: The firewall on the laptop is all greyed out and mentions that
it is using group policies
