Windows XP Pro with SP2 Slipstreamed Size?

Win XP Pro with SP2 (slipstreamed) shows as 4.5 GB in my Properties.
That's about 40% larger than the same setup before SP2 (it was 3.2 GB I
think). The 3.2 GB was XP Pro with SP1 slipstreamed, same as SP2,
same PC, and all of my programs are on a logical partition.

I wonder if that is mostly due to increased security, or to some other
improvements in SP2?

FYI - a clean install of XP SP2 with SP2 slipstreamed into an XP Pro CD is
only 3.25GB, at least on my PC's - don't know where your extra 1.25GB is
coming from, maybe restore point(s), windows\i386 or
windows\servicepackfiles folder? Not sure?

It may be due to increase in RAM; which should increase the hibernate file
and also increase the paging file.
The total increase can be substantial.
