Windows XP Pro upgrade reinstalling.

I wanted to run things better and reinstalled Win XP now I am getting an error messages that prevent Setup from continuing, so I am stuck. Is any chance to return to the existing (old installation)? I tried safety mode - cannot gete there, chkdsk /r - np problems reported. What is error code fffffe0b?

Hey, if you get an answer, please send me a copy....I did the same thing, except I dont get a error message but it boots to "restarting setup" and comes back over and over and over to the same spot...I cannot do ANYTHING else, like format, or systems boot disk or anything... I want to just format it at this time and start over,....but HOW????
