Is there a Windows XP Professional startup disk because my friend's computer
won't start because it is missing a file and his BIOS won't let him make his
cdrom drive the first thing to boot from or second. So he can't use the
Windows XP Professional disk and that's why I need to know if there is a disk
for bootup.

Does your friend's system drive use the FAT32 or NTFS
file system? You can find out by booting the machine with
a Win98 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com. If you can
then see the system drive then it's FAT32. If you can't then
it's NTFS.
