I have a computer that had a completely formatted hard drive. I borrowed a
Windows XP Home edition Installation CD from a friend. However, the setup
didn't finish because I stopped It (mostly because I had to move the
computer). Now every time that I try to re-do the setup it says there's
missing files on the disk. I'm just going to re-format the hard drive and try
again. However, when is use the "format c:" command when running a Windows 98
Boot disk, It won't format. Is this because it is a NTPS (or w/e) partition
and not FAT or FAT32? Do I have to get a newer boot disk like a Windows XP
Boot disk? Please help
P.S. It also wont let me boot from the installation CD, you know what it
says "To boot press any key.." or w/e. It also won't let me boot any Linux
disks to try and get rid of it.
