Windows XP Pro SP1 activation question

Hi, We are an OEM system builder. We install Windows XP machines on the computers that we sell to customers. We recently have a customer that have corrupted files on the hard drive and we need to reinstall Windows XP from scratch.
How does the product activation works? Can I activate XP again, since it was activated already once.? If yes, how many times can the activation work on this same particular machine?

There is no limit as to how many times you can activate Windows XP on
that computer.
After installation attempt internet activation.
If that fails choose the option to activate by phone.
Call the displayed number to Microsoft, done in about 5 minutes.
