Windows XP Pro login Problems

I have a computer that "locked Up". Upon re-boot. I can't login to the
computer using any username. It just returns to the login screen without any
error message.
The computer is not on a domain, just a workgroup. Networking is active
because other users (there is 1) can acces resources on this computer. I have
tried accessing the computer using RDP, safe mode (with and without network
support). Any ideas what might be causing and a fix?

I'm having the same problem, logging me off right after I press enter to
login, any help would be great.

I ended up booting from the XP CD and running a repair. This seemedto correct
the problem and it has operated fine since then.
