10 new computers all running windows xp pro. On 2/23/2004
6 of the computers booted and did not require the users
to enter a password to login. This resulted in the users
not having access to the file server. I re created
password on each of these computers. On 2/24/2004 when
the computers were started one of the 6 from the day
before did not promt for password. I re created the
password. On 2/25/2004 3 of the computers started and did
not prompt for password. Passwords are not set to expire
users do not have to change their passwords.

Thanks for your help!

Go to start>run type: control userpasswords2

check the box at the top where it says "Users must enter
a username and password to use this computer"

Also, just to make sure, you can click the "Advanced" Tab
and at the bottom decide if you want to do the "secure
Logon"

Hope it helps
