Windows XP Pro - HAL issues

I have installed XP Pro on a Compaq SFF 733 and image and applied the image
to a Compaq EVO 2 Gig processor PC and the image does not work. The power
management options Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
(Bios) are enabled. Has anyone experienced this problem or suggest a fix.

An image can only be used when the hardware is identical on both machines.
Reinstall WindowsXP on the latter PC using the WinXP CD. Then make an image
of that hard drive if you like.
