I bought an IBM NetVista PC with Windows XP Home Edition
already installed. I bought and installed from Microsoft
and upgrade to XP Pro. The upgrade proceeded without any
apparent errors.
However, now whenever any user logs on, after the "loading
personal settings" process, I get RUNDLL error messages
which says:
"Error loading irprops.cpl"
"The specified module could not be found"
In running a search in the registry for irprops.cpl (which
I think is a control panel file -- isn't that what .cpl
means?), I find a few entries, all under HKEY Local
Machine - Microsoft - Windows. So I don't think it has
anything to do with third party apps.
Has anyone seen this? How can I get rid of the error?
