Windows XP Pro does not boot.

Greetings.

Within the last 8 months since I bought my new notebook
with Windows XP Pro, I had to do a complete restore to
factory settings 3 times. The reason was the system would
not boot and hang at the windows logo. The reason which I
found out that it is due to corrupt registry. I have
found the "How to recover from corrupt registry" in the
knowledge base. Should I need to follow the instructions
so that it does not happen again.
Is there any other proactive measure, which I can take.

Do you get the message Windows Could Not Start Because the
C:\windows\system32\config\system\**

If so:
Error Message: Windows Could Not Start Because the
C:\windows\system32\config\system File is Missing or Corrupt
