Windows XP Pro controlling Windows NT4

Assuming both are in the same domain, is the user account
on the XP machine have the proper permissions on the NT
machine?
 
Yes. I have no problem accessing folders on the NT PC
from my XP PC using my existing user account. The NT PC
is also NT Workstation, not NT Server if that makes any
difference. I can see that setting permissions is
readily available on the XP pc (Start >> My Computer >>
View Sys. Info. >> Remote). I don't see where you can do
this on NT4 or XP Home. Is this the problem and is it
fixable?
