Hi guys, I plug in a scanner to my Win XP and very frequently, when
the scanner is not in use, the scanner shuts down to save power. My XP
performance then goes down drastically. A friend said that XP keeps
checking all USB ports to see that applications plugged in are active
and that this takes a lot of cycles. Is this true? Any way I can
improve performance? Thanks Tom
