I was having problems with my Outlook, so I tried to
restore my system to a prior date (4 days earlier). After
the restore was completed I was asked for a password to
log on to Windows XP. The system is 1 1/2 years old and I
have never entered a password. I am now unable to start my
computer as I have no idea what the password is. Any
thoughts ?? Can I try reinstalling Windows XP??

Have you tried entering your Windows Serial Number (the long number on the software box, e.g 12345-43210-98765-56789). It's worth a try. I had the same problem and it worked. if this doesnt work, feel free to email me and i will definately sort it out!

Lee;
Entering the Product Key in place of a password is NEVER a good idea.
If it works, it is because it was previously entered as a password.

Considering the value of the Product Key, it should NEVER be used
except as originally intended.
