Windows XP Networking Issue

My system suddenly lost connection to my network. I see nothing when I tried
to browse my network place. I tried to log on to my domany and I get a
message saying that " the netlogon service did not start " Has anyone seen
this before? and if so is there a quick fix to this problem?

Netlogon service is only used if one is on a domain. If you are, you need to contact
someone in your it department.
