i hope someone can help, completely lost now and do not want to do a
reinstall
i have a windows 2003 domain, one machine has suddenly stopped accessing
networking drives
can ping any machine on the network with ip address and fqdn
when you do start run \\servername\share you get the following message
"no network provider accepted the given path"
have tried to extract the mup.sys in safe mode and from the recovery
console, extraction says it is complete but it does not fix the problem
we can access the machine using vnc
have checked and restarted the following services
workstation
netlogon
still nothing
when you boot into safe mode with networking i can access the whole network,
access programs, network drives etc
when we log back in normal mode we cannot access the drives
can anyone help with this, we run spyware and av on the machines and these
are all up to date
thank you
