WIndows XP missing paging file

My Mom is running Windows XP, SP3, P4, 2.6 GHz, 128 MB ram. She is getting
msg when booting that the system has no paging file or it's too small. I
checked the setting and it is set to have the paging file, Admin account has
correct permissions, but the paging file is not there. (system files are not
hidden). Does anyone have any ideas of what to do!?
