Windows XP (Media Center) Unexpectantly Reboots

D

Dal

My PC keeps rebooting with no prior warning. It use to only do it when
I used Media Center (generally in minimised mode). However, it now
does it using any application, regardless of Media Center, i.e. not
launched.

Note: I do not receive BSOD. No warnings on reboot.

I have:

Cleared the 'Automatically restart' function in startup & recovery.
Checked the event viewer as soon as it reboots (no events).
Used a CPU monitor to check activity - no obvious problems identified
Cocsidered CPU heat. However, PC can reboot and then run for hours,
which we suggest not heat related (also no noises coming from fan
units).

Please help as I am lost for ideas.

If no BSOD and CPU not overheating, sort of points in the direction of
power supply issue.
