Windows XP logon to domain profile

When connected or VPN'd to the network, the user can logon just fine. When
the domain is not available (not in office and cannot vpn) the user is unable
to logon and gets the cannot log you on as domain is unavailable. Does anyone
know how to allow this user to logon when not in the office? This was working
previously, not sure what changed.

Go to control panel - user accounts - and add the users profile while on the
domain.
This is one way.
