Everytime i try to boot my computer up its hangs on the
MS Windows Logo Screen, the screen right before it
says "Welcome." I have tried booting it in safe mode and
it does the exact same thing.

Comp was working fine , then one day this just started
happening. I did not install anything new hardware or
program wise.

Windows XP Professional
Amd 1.6
512 ram
cable connection

OK see thas not it, its not at the Welcome screen, its
the screen right before the welcome screen. With the MS
Windows XP Logo, most people dont even see it because
when windows is booting up it flashes the logo then goes
to the welcome screen. IT IS BEFORE THE WELCOME SCREEN.
My mouse still moves around, my keyboard, im not sure
about, the caps lock light will come on, but ctrl, alt, tab
does nothing.

I cannot boot in safe mode either, the article u gave me
to check does not help at all, it says choose the
option "Delete Restoration data and....." Well its hard
to choose the option when it isnt offered.

When i try to boot up, and hit F8 for the Options I get
the following:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Prompt

Enable Boot Login
Enable VGA Mode
Last Known Good Config.....
Directory Services Restore....
Debugging Mode

Start Windows Normally
Reboot

I have tried every single one of the options and every
single one does the same thing. It just sits on the MS
Windows XP Logo Screen..

HELP HELP HELP pls
