Windows XP Login

I setup a new computer with Windows XP Media Edition to have 4 users. When
the computer starts it displays a dialog box with the last logged-in user,
prompting for a password. When I log-off, switch user, it displays the same
dialog box. I can change the user name to log into another account. On my
other XP computer, Icons appear with the name of each user and I can select
one, like a home screen for user accounts. I'd like my new computer to work
this way.
I got a message at one point that Client Services for Netware was somehow
responsible. I uninstalled Client Services for Netware but no difference.

Go to Control Panel and double click on User Accounts.
Click on "Change the way users log on or off".
Put a check mark in the box next to "Use the Welcome Screen"
and "Use Fast User Switching"
Hit the "Apply Options" button.
Close User Accounts.
Log off and see if the Welcome Screen appears.
