how to manually remove Client Services for Netware

HI All,

I have already removed all Netware network entries from my network
adapter's
properties. (All that is left is Client for MS networks, file and
print sharing, and tcp/ip)

I have scanned my registry for "netware", "Novel", "client
services" and have
come up dry.

When I go to restore the normal log on screen, I get "Client
service for Netware has
disabled the welcome screen and Fast user switching. To restore these
features,
you must uninstall client service for Netware"

Where is this little bugger hiding and how do I erase it?

Many thanks,
-T

Did you check the Add/Remove programs applet in Control
Panel ?

There are no Netware or Novel entries in
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Uninstall]
If they don't show up in the above, they don't show up in the applet.
(I double checked
anyway.)

Any other ideas?

Have you tried asking the knowledgeable and very helpful folks on the Novel
newsgroups?

I reposted it in novell.support.netware.client.winnt-2x-xp. Thanks
for
the idea.

Good luck.

The answer was to reinstall the Netware client, reboot, logon
as workstation only, go into the network adapters properties and
do an uninstall on "Client for Netware networks", then let
it reboot. (There was no entry for Netware or Novel in Add/Remove
programs after reinstalling the client.)

HTH someone else,
