Windows XP language change

I bought a new laptop in the Canary Islands. Problem, Windows XP comes in
Spanish only. Is there anyway to change the language to English?

Hi

I'm afraid that you can't change the Language of XP. You would have to
purchase a Retail copy of XP in English then dual boot both versions.
Unless
you wanted to replace the Spanish version with the English one, then you
would have to perform a 'Clean' install.

I agree with Will Denny's reply.
I live in Belgium where the natives speak one or more of three languages
(Dutch, French or Germany), my mother tongue is English.
I usually purchase Acer laptop computers because when you initially switch
on you are offered one of three languages (English, Dutch or French) for the
operating system (OS), once a decision is made the language can't be
changed. Therefore, I operate with the English OS but the key board can't
be changed from it's French keyboard layout.

It's a pity that other manufacturers don't offer this multi-language OS
facility in areas where multi-languages are used.

I'd price an OEM version of Windows XP from the maker of
the laptop. A full-install version will be needed for the
dual-boot option mentioned by Will Denny.
