Windows XP install

I installed Windows 2000, after installation I decided to install Windows SP
pro. Problem is when I start my computer, I get a choice of two operating
system. When I select Windows XP, windows 2000 starts. How do I solve this
problem ?

Start by checking the boot.ini file. There should be two choices, but
apparently point to the same OS.
Also note that XP must be installed on a separate partition, not the
partition used for Win 2000.
