Windows XP Install disks

My hard drive had crashed. I called up Sony Vaio for the original software
recovery CD, and they say they no longer have the CD for my 3 year old
laptop. I have the original installed sticker for Windows XP on my laptop,
product key number. Is there a place a can download the Windows XP install
disk, and use this product number that came with my laptop? I would call
Windows support center, but they charge for everything. Thanks.

There is no way for the general public.to legally download the XP
installation media, you can try to borrow a Microsoft OEM installation disk
of the same version of XP as your license and install using that, It must be
the OEM version, retail media will not work.
