Windows XP Home

Hi,

I bought and HP laptop back in January with Win XP Home
on it and it crashed on me in March I had to reinstall
everything which was fine, but last week it crashed on my
again. And again I had to reinstall everything. I wrote
to HP support team to see if this maybe a dodgy laptop
and they said that I should download updates for XP.

Has anyone experienced any problems with XP home crashing
on them constantly and having to reinstall everything
again?

Someone else today was reporting problems with a crashing HP laptop ....

When they tell to apply updates, ask them to be *specific* about which
update fixes what exact problem which is the root-cause of the crashes.

If you review the descriptions, very few address "crash" issues.
