windows xp home useing 2 harddrives

I have put a new hard drive in my windows 98 computer and installed windows
xp home upgrade on new drive i want to transfer files to new drive but now
old drive does not appear in my computer. i put new drive in becouse old
drive did not have enough room to install xp home upgrade. how do i run to
hard drives bios picks up both drives. old drive also does not have a drive
letter anymore. why is that

any help wwould be great thank you

Are the drives setup correctly, i.e. is one of them a master and the other
one a slave??

needhelp:
Access Disk Management (Start > right-click My Computer > Manage > Computer
Management > Disk Management). See if the drive is listed there but without
a drive letter assignment. If that's the case, assign one.
