Windows XP Home Opening mulitple windows, when clicking on program

I recently have had a problem. XP takes aprox 10 minutes to boot up. Then
when I try to access a program, 131 or more windows open, but the program
doesn't, I hit ALT+CTRL+DEL and the Task manager shows all the 131 or more
attempts to open the program as not responding. This happens in the Software
Repair program, the SBC DLS program, and the SBC Self Help program. I have
reinstalled the SBC software, and used Compaq's Application restore to
reinstall the PC Doctor, but with no success. I now cannot even access teh
internet - AT HOME - I am sendin this from work on break.. HELP

First, get rid of every piece of SBC software, then...

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

Your machine is probably chock full of malware.
