After SP2 got done installing the SP2 files on my computer an error message
popped-up saying "Access is Denied." It then uninstalled SP2 because the
installation failed. Is there any way I can fix this? I am using Windows
XP Home Edition SP1 by HP.

Make sure your account you are using has administrator rights.
Control Panel, User Accounts, click your account and select Change My
Account Type
Make sure administrator is selected.

The username I'm using to install SP2 has administrator rights, but it still
says "Access is Denied." I tried re-installing it a few times and I get the
same message everytime. I don't know what could be causing this.

BTW, I have Apache 1.3.31 and MySQL 4.0.20d running as a service. Could
that be the problem?

Only way to find out is to close the programs running in the background,
disable the services related to them, and try the install.
