Windows XP Home Edition - "It is now safe to turn off your compute

I just bought a new S-ata hard drive and now my computer will not shut down
automatically. In device Manager, it used to say "ACPI Uniprocessor" but now
it says MPS uniprocessor.

I do not have any logitech mouse drivers, Zone Alarm or Adaptec/Roxio
software.
My Bios is correctly configured to enable automatic shutdown.
And I do not have an APM tab under power managment.

Did you select the option to show hidden devices?

Sometimes, the APM device is hidden, and that's the only way to reveal it.

I've tried everything on the microsoft website, but nothing seems to work.
Mabye I should reinstall Windows XP.

Disable the Power Management feature in your BIOS.
Windows XP uses it own Power Management and it
seems it is conflicting with your current Power Management
BIOS settings. Also, disable "Plug and Play" in your BIOS.

I can't disable power management is Bios, same with "plug and play"
Also, My motherboard is the "K7N2 Delta2 Plantinum"

In device manager, under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" there is a " ! " mark
beside :

"NVIDIA MCP2S Parallel ATA controller (v2.6)" [Code 12]

Also, under "Sound, video and game controllers" there is a " ! " mark beside :

"Realtek AC'97 Audio" [Code 35]
