Windows XP Home Edition Installed on Wrong Drive

Hello...Windows XP Home Edition was recently installed on our computer on the
RESTORE d: drive. How can I get this off the d drive and on the c drive?

If the installation reformatted D, you have lost your 'restore to factory'
capability..
