Windows XP Hibernation Error cos of Keyboard Device Drivers

B

Ben Cooper

I don't know if anyone can help - BUT:

We recently bought Win XP Pro and installed fresh on
existing PC. We have had MS Natural Keyboard which has
never caused any previous problems with other OS's.

When we try to hibernate the computer it comes up with an
error saying that the device driver for the keyboard is
stopping the computer from going into hibernation and
that we should upgrade our driver.

We thought it might be becuase the keyboard was old and
that no up-to-date drivers were available. So... we
bought the NEW MS Natural Media Keyboard with updated
drivers, etc...

WE STILL have the same problem. I know it doesn't sound
too major problem but we have battery backup systems that
try to hibernate the system in case of (whatever!) and
because of this error this does not function. HELP!!!!!

Many Thanks,

Ben
