Windows XP File Sharing

I cannot share the My Documents folder with other users on
our LAN. We have attempted to share the entire "C" drive,
but get a sharing violation when attempting to access
the "My Documnets" folder. We next tried to share only
the "Documents & Settings" folder, but get the same
sharing violation. We would appreciate any suggestions.
We have Windows XP Professional on all of computers
connected to the LAN.
