When I try to send a fax I get the telephone co. recorded message that the
no. can't be completed as dialed. I've gone through all the trouble shooting
fixes about dialing rules and still can't send. I can recieve faxes. Any one
out there have any ideas how to fix this problem?

Some phone systems require a slight delay between parts of the phone number,
or between digits dialed. There is also a minimum time for the tone sent per
digit. Most of these values can be set by commands to the modem. You will
need to read the modem doc's to find the best way to change these values.
You may be able to add a comma between the area code, the prefix, and the
last for digit group.
Some systems require 1,xxx,xxx,xxxx (long distance, AC, Number prefix, Last
four digits) You can try typing tis in directly if no dialing rules are set.
Device manager (Modem, properties, advanced) can be used to add optional
control strings to the modem.
