windows xp blue and black scree

[Help]

So for weeks I get this problem. I am using my acer laptop, when
suddenly a blue screen appears and tells me it needs to shut down to
prevent damage. Then it restarts and it checks file on system c.
Also when I restart my computer another time my acer welcome screen
comes on then the black screen with flashing white underscore line.
Whats up with that.
Where I bought the laptop they ran a diagnostic after this blue screen
appeared sometimes. After that this black screen appeared. They also
told me it is my RAM, but Acer sent my a new RAM but still the same
problem. Pls help to diagnost this, because I don't want to send my
laptop in for weeks to acer to fix this.

Sounds like this a relatively new computer. Send it back to Acer to repair
it.

do you have any temperature monitoring software installed.
if not might find something and install it.
Speed Fan is usually a good one.
